Autodesk recently launched 3ds Max 2021, a new version of its 3D modeling, animation and rendering software. The latest release brings 3D artists new tools to meet evolving demands for content creation across design visualization and media and entertainment with a fully scriptable baking experience, simpler installation process, enhancements to window and renderer, and built-in support for Python 3, among other improvements.

The new texture baking experience that supports physics-based rendering (PBR), overrides, and OSL workflows and provides a new, intuitive toolset
