According to one customer of BlackBox Right Click Rename, it makes “renaming blocks a piece of cake.” With its many raves, this app for AutoCAD renaming seems to be a true must-have. So what’s it all about?
“There’s no more need to use the RENAME dialog, and hunt down multiple item(s), ” writes developer BlackBox. “Simply select the desired entity (i.e., a block, dimension, polyline, table, etc.) and Right Click Rename that entity’s block name, layer, dimension style, table style, etc. The entity’s existing property name is supplied for you at the command line, so you need only type the new property name. Lemon squeezy.”
Go ahead and make AutoCAD renaming a bit easier. Available for $2 on the Autodesk App Store, BlackBox Right Click Rename is compatible with AutoCAD 2017-2020 and the Electrical, Mechanical, Architecture, MEP, and Plant 3D specialized toolsets.
