Set up a generic printer driver
Use the AutoCAD PLOTTERMANAGER command to set up a generic HP GL/2 printer driver:

Type PLOTTERMANAGER on the AutoCAD command line.
Double-click Add-A-Plotter.
Select My Computer.
Select Hewlet-Packard.
Select a printer model. You may need to choose a model with a number near the number for your printer.
If the driver you select doesn’t work with your printer, continue trying to find a match.
