In September, Maxon’s fall update included updates for almost all products in the Maxon One subscription, including Trapcode Suite 17 which provided the long-requested ability to work with Particular and Form in the same 3D space. Less than two months later, Maxon is pleased to announce the immediate availability of an update for Trapcode (17.1) which contains workflow and performance improvements, as well as several minor bug fixes for Particular.
This update is available immediately on Maxon App.
Improvements include:
The “Create Null” button now becomes “Unlink Null” when a null has been created to allow easier decoupling (if desired).
Canceling the “Create Null” operation is now done in one step.
Improved fluid dynamics performance when rendering longer.
Improved spline support in Cinema 4D, including the ability to emit from edges in addition to vertices.
Improved behavior of multiple system selection in Designer to eliminate cases of unintentional selection of multiple systems.
Custom system names are now taken into account in the “Emit from Parent System” menu for child systems in Designer.
A full list of changes can be found in our Trapcode 17.1 FAQ.
