Does Revit have blocks?
In AutoCAD, we have Blocks. In Revit, the closest equivalent to a Block would be either a Family or a Group, but neither is completely synonymous.
How do you create a block?
1. Draw the objects that you want in the block.
2. Choose Home tab> Block panel> Create to start the BLOCK command.
3. Type a name in the Name text box.
4. You need to specify a base point.
5. In the Objects section, click the Select Objects button.
6. Just below, choose Retain, Convert to Block, or Delete.
