What is Area Plan?
Area plans, also known as community or neighborhood plans, serve to guide decisions about the physical development of a given community or district. These plans allow for specific, local application of the more broad based policies contained in the County General Plan.

How does Revit calculate wall area?
The way Revit calculates wall areas that have openings (doors, windows, etc) in them is by giving you the wall area minus the opening area. While this might be of some use, if actually you need to get accurate quantities I doubt this will do.
