Is it true that SolidWorks 2013 will not be able to be installed on Windows XP?
Indeed, SolidWorks 2013 will NOT be able to be installed on Windows XP. If you are using Windows XP, you must upgrade to Windows 7 or keep your current version of SolidWorks, and do without the new features of SolidWorks 2013.
Why do some SolidWorks 2012 tutorials display XML code, and how can this be fixed?
SolidWorks 2012 CHM (* .chm) files can cause this type of problem on SOME computers.
Download, extract, and copy the attached file “SolidWorks 2012 tutorials 4182012.ZIP” to the following SolidWorks installation folder: “C: Program FilesSolidWorks CorpSolidWorkslangenglish”. (This is the default location. It may be different if you specify a different location for your installation).
For SolidWorks Simulation Tutorials, download and extract the attached file “Simulation 2012 Tutorials.zip” in the same location.
If the tests are successful, this issue will be resolved in SolidWorks 2013.
