In the process of creating a project, you will create rules to manage the information needed to control the 3D model. These rules can be entered manually or using the function wizard.
In addition to features like Auto-Complete (suggestion of functions in real time as you type), Bracket Matching (visual aid for parentheses) and Rules Insight (dynamic statements of function arguments); the function wizard tab appears when a function is chosen from the list. Functions are used for calculating numeric or text values and can be created using Auto-Complete, but this method will not activate the wizard tab.
The function wizard shows all the necessary fields. Once you’ve filled in all the boxes, click Finish and DriveWorks will write the function with the correct syntax for you. This therefore increases your productivity while simplifying your life.
There are approximately 180 features excluding those created by users with the DriveWorks SDK. This list can be found in the DriveWorks online help document.
