Each year, we allow customers under maintenance to submit suggestions and requests for improvements that they would like to see in future versions of SolidWorks.
Historically, 70% of its suggestions end up being integrated into the software.
Here is the list that was revealed during SolidWorks World:
1. Make reconstruction faster
2. True backward compatibility
3. Groove constraint
4. Cylindrical mates need an option to block rotation.
5. Provide a version of the eDrawings mobile application on the Android platform
6. Option for constant spacing on linear repeats
7. Default concentric stress between an axis and a cylindrical surface
8. An external thread assistant for all types of threads
9. Draw a segment starting from the midpoint
10. Create auxiliary lines to dimension the angles
