How do you cut in Tinkercad?
If it’s one-time-use, both ABS and PLA are perfectly safe for use as a cookie cutter. The “food safety” of 3D printed parts is fairly controversial. In fact, whether any particular material is approved by regulators (such as the US FDA) for food contact is much more complex than most people realize.31 mai 2016
If you’re looking for something simple for your 3d cookie cutters, the X-one2 is the one you need to check out. It’s basically a basic 3D printer that is designed to be used by school kids for projects and families at home. Being a simple device, the machine comes all assembled in the package.
Speaking of investment, I’ve printed over 60 cutters from one roll of filament. If you’re looking at an average price of 4.00-5.00 per cookie cutter from 3D shops that means the machine would pay for itself in about one roll of filament for me.17 mai 2019

Can you drink out of PLA?
Natural PLA is made from corn starch and is generally considered food safe. However, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Some manufacturers will blend in other additives — for color, strength, or other features — that make the filament unsafe to ingest.20 mai 2017
Will PLA dissolve in water?
PLA will absorb water, meaning water molecules diffuse between polymer chains causing volumetric swelling. PLA will NOT be affected otherwise by pure water.6 mar. 2016
Can you drink out of PLA plastic?
Technically yes, PLA is (mostly) food safe. However, there are other aspects of 3D printing in PLA that can cause problems. Firstly, a 3D printed cup is not likely to be watertight. Secondly, the layered effect leaves areas that bacteria can flourish in, so your PLA cup is only usable for 1 or 2 drinks.
